Who I Am
Amanda M Rich
Hi, I’m Amanda — owner of A. Rich Accounting Co. and a lifelong numbers person. I’ve been working in bookkeeping and accounting since I was 16 years old, and after more than two decades in the field, I still genuinely love what I do.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, have completed extensive accounting coursework, and am IRS-certified as a tax preparer. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients — from small local businesses to individuals just trying to make sense of their finances. Before starting my own firm, I spent several years as a Senior Accountant at a local CPA firm, and most recently, I also worked with TurboTax as a fully certified business and individual tax preparer — all while continuing to grow my own accounting practice. It’s been a rewarding experience that’s helped me stay sharp, expand my expertise, and better serve my clients.
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and started A. Rich Accounting Co. What began as a dream has turned into one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life. Now based in Olympia, WA, my firm is celebrating three incredible years of helping business owners find confidence and clarity in their finances.
I’m also the proud daughter of two combat veterans, and that background gave me a deep respect for service, discipline, and dedication. It’s one reason I’m so passionate about supporting veterans and veteran-owned businesses — helping them achieve stability and success long after their service ends.
At the heart of it all, my mission is simple: I do what I love so you can get back to doing what you love.
